I have a 2004 GMC sierra 4x4 truck that was bought off the lot without
cruise control. Does anybody put together a factory kit for sale?

Not so fast there tex... 04s are Throttle-By-Wire. I believe you can add
Cruise by changing the turn signal lever and having the computer
updated by the dealer. Try www.gm-trucks.com

Check the cost of the stalk and the dealer cost to reprogram the computer
first...

nope

dealer is required to flash the ECM to whatever the VIN says it had as it
left the factory

he has to access the relevant info from GM, and for that he must input the
VIN

if the VIN indicated 'no cruise', you're screwed
