Does anyone know how to program a remote for a 1996 1/2 ton chevy Z71 silverado 4x4? Thanks in advance Brian 1. Ground pin G of DLC. Vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking doors. 2. Press and button on transmitter to be programmed. 3. Control module will respond by locking/unlocking doors. 4. Press any button on second transmitter to be programmed (if applicable) 5. Control module will respond by locking/unlocking doors. 6. Remove ground from DLC pin G 7.
