I'm trying to register a El Camino from CA in AZ. Motor Vehicle needs to see
two VIN's. I can only find the one on the dash. Anyone know where the other
might be? Thanks.

Should be a metal tag on the firewall. I think on the driverside. Wayne

I found a plate at the very top of the firewall, near the windshield. The
numbers dont seem to match the one inside. Might that be it?

Not sure, they used to have a options tag too. I'd check with the auto
bureau about that one. Wayne

Have you checked the glove box, or the spare tire area ?? I had a 1981
ElCam some time ago and I seem to remember a paper label with VIN & RPO
codes somewhere like that.

It was posted inside the drivers door opening from the factory, as well
as in the glove box.

It's possible it may be located in stamp form on some of the sheet
metal,
but I'm not positive on that old a vehical.

try this...........
