looking at 06 1500hd crew cab. was wondering of the gas mileage for
hwy, city and light towing and also has anyone "chiped" the motor and
did it help. thanks

Greetings,

You're going to have to be just a little more specific. For example, what
motor are you looking at (there are at least three available for that truck,
maybe 4), plus is it a 4x4 or 2wd? In addition, what improvements are you
asking about with a new chip - MPG? Power? Don't expect the MPG to improve
with a performance chip as the best mileage you will most likely get will be
factory stock. But then again, you don't buy this type of truck for the
mileage...

looking at the 1500hd crewcab 4x4 with the 6.0 motor, just curious
mileage is empty
