Considering getting a 4 wheel drive crew cab Silverado. Have had a
Chevy pick up for 16 years. Getting rid of my 2000 pickup. Whats the
upside and downside to the 2007 new pickups?

Upside is the improved interior and dash , stronger and more rigid frame,
more HP and active fuel mgt. Downside is the cost, and the teething problems
that sometimes go along with owning the first year of introduction for a new
GM major redesign.

The 5 year or 100,000 mileage warranty is not bad either.

The body design has really turned to crap. I have no idea who they are
trying to imitate, but they look like Kias.
I felt the same way in 2001 , had my 89 for 12 years and bought a 2001 2500
hd now here I am 5 years later 30000dollars later with rusting back doors
and a knocking 6liter. U might want to check for seam sealer then check the
competions . My paint is bubbling and gm needs a hole to be covered by the
warranty.
