97 Chevy Suburban wont start

I ahve a 97 Chevy suburban that died on me today...completely lost power
everything. Well, it'll crank but it wont start. Replaced the fuel filter
thining that was the problem....you can hear the fuel pupm working when the
key is in the on position so didnt think that was the problem, fuel filter on
the other hand was clogged. Replaced the fuel filter and well that didnt work,
it'll crank but not actualyl start up. anyone have any ideas or suggestions
to try?

Back to basics. To start it has to have spark and fuel. Did you check for
spark?

Squirt a little gas in the intake and see if it tries to start. About one
teaspoon should do it. Don't try starting Ether. Just use regular gas.
