changing oil on 2004 venture

hi, we bought a 2004 venture van, on this model you have to reset the
oil counter so the engine light will be out, is this a tricky procedure
or simple to do. will apreciate any advise. thanks, jerry

This should be in your owner's manual.

Follow this procedure to reset the GM oil life system:

 1.. Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine.
 2.. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five
seconds.
   a.. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes two times, the system is
reset.
   b.. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator comes on and stays on for five
seconds, try to reset the system again.
