adjusting the timeing on a 1994 chevy 1500 2wd with a 305 5.O liter V*

Iwould like to know where is the wire that disconnect the distributor,or
reset the distributor that allows one to make adjustment on the timeing.

    There should be instructions on the Emissions Decal under the hood.
Should be on the radiator core support, or the fan shroud.

on my 1989 s10 it is inside the Truck on the Passenger side Below the
Heater CORE
BROWN WIRE
