overheating

my k1500 everytime i shut it down it sounds like it is over heating,but it
never goes over 180 degrees. i've change the thermostat,and radiater cap.any
ideas.

It is not unusual for engine temp to rise some after shutdown. Try
letting it idle for a minute of too after a hard run before shutdown.
You might make sure clutch fan is working properly too.
