Rebuilding rear brakes on 92 S10 - Caliper?

I need to rebuild the rear brake calipers on my 92 S10.  When you hit the
brakes you can feel the back one sticking.  It lets loose a little as you
move forward again.  They have 340K on them so I assume they are ready. :)

How hard is it? Replacing the shoes on it is pretty easy and it doesn't look
too difficult to get the caliper (is this what it's called?) out.

I would then need to bleed the lines and etc.  The question is after 340K
will I be able to get the line off.....

Should I rebuild them or buy new refurbed ones? Is there a trick to getting
the brake line off since it's been on there for 341K? I'm sure it will feel
like it's welded in place. :)

first off, calipers with pads go up front.
the rear has shoes with a wheel cylinder pushing them.
the line might not be to bad, depending on where it has been, but a good
line wrench, and some pb blaster, and you should be fine.
just keep bumping the wrench, instead of just pulling on it, the jaring
action will help break it loose.
you can buy new ones for about 10-15 bucks, so it doesn't mace sense to
rebuild them yourself, but thats just me.
im curious, what motor do you have, and it it the original engine?
hope this helps

I was amazed that the brake line just unscrewed with no problem at all.  The
driver side was OK for having 342K on them. The passenger side was leaking
badly and hanging.  The shoes looked bad but no down to rivets yet.

O got new cylinders, spring kits and shoes for $42.

Cleaned the living crap out of everything and it works great now. Wasn't
nearly as hard as I thought it would be.  Now for the front ones. As cheap
as the parts are I will do them, calipers, discs and pads.

Thanks!
