OK, I have one for you guys,06 Silverado,120000 miles now, tranny went out on
me.so far its been a tranny and wheel hub,i guess with the miles in such a
short time is the cause but i would think if you keep up on the mant it
should last awhile but im not sure that chevy can keep up with me and my work,
I my have to try a Ford next and see if they can keep up.

What went wrong the transmission?

If you do alot of towing in your business you might try a tow package on your
next truck.  I agree with you, today's transmissions should last longer than
120K.
