'01 PT check engine light came on, ran rough, determined #1 not firing.
Replaced plug, runs great now, smooth as before. BUT check engine light
is still on. Shouldn't it go out now, or does it have to be somehow
manually reset ?
TIA

It will go out soon; just a couple more starts and stops...

The Task Manager program in the PCM (Computer) needs to make a full
diagnostic cycle before it will go out.
If it doesn't go out in one tank of gas usage, you may want to take it to
the stealership and let them reset it with their scantool.
