03 Stratus heater-air cond fan speed control

I waws driving on Thursday with the fan set at 3 when it just shut off.  Tried all the fan positions and the only one
that works is 4--full speed.  I believe a resistor pack opened somewhere---does anyone know where its located???

that is the greatest design for  a blower resisitor i have seen yet
whats up with that samman
thats like the location for the resistor on a 2000 dakota
and you have to remove the dash to replace a 10 dollar part
