Air Bag Idiot Light Came on...

Airbag Idiot light

This popped on twice before, solid light. both times-were related to the
sensor in the driver's seat belt mechanism. Could third time be the charm??

Any thoughts???

The fault is due to the pretentioner (possibly open or shorted circuit).
Which means that if you were in an accident, the seat belt would not pull
you back from the steering wheel as designed. the connector is located at
the inboard belt behind the bezel. You could disconnect it a few times and
reconnect it to see if its just a bad connection or replace the belt....
about 150.00 for the part.

Just as I suspected right-passenger side belt needs replacing.
