I have a little problem with my 2001 Concorde which currently has 48,000
miles. There seems to be an odd high pitched creaking noise near the inside
of the left front wheel, and I can't figure out what's been causing it.
This noise occurs only when starting the vehicle in cool weather; after the
car warms up (10-15 minutes of driving) it is gone. Furthermore, this noise
is only there when the gear is in park or reverse, it is very quiet in
neutral or drive! Another odd thing, it only occurs when the RPM is between
900-1500.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. The noise is coming from the bottom rear left of the
engin. Near the inside of the left front wheel as stated before.

If you turn the steering wheel back and forth, does the noise change pitch or
volume?

No.
