94 Intrepid 3.5L tranny

Thanks for the replies.

I changed (half) the fluid and the filter.  I used to take it to Jiffy Lube.
They used to have 7176.  Now they have Dexron, and another "all-purpose"
fluid from Pennzoil.

I bought 5 quarts of Quaker State ATF3 and did it myself.  The filter came
with a cork/rubber gasket, but I decided to user Permatex "The Right Stuff".
No leaks.  Reverse works. Transmission shifts smoothly.  All is well.

From what I have been reading, you better change that fluid to Type 4
FAST, or you will be looking for a transmission SOON. The only place I
have found it is at a dealership for around $20 a gallon. (4 quarts)
