Seems my front-passenger window motor is dead.  No response from both
the driver's window switch nor the passenger's switch.  All other
windows work.  No indication that the window motors are individually
fused.

Do I need special tools to remove the door panel?

Is the motor integrated with the linkage, or can it be removed while
keeping the linkage in place?

Not individually fused, but before you remove it, while the engine is
running and the door open, slam the door a few times as you are holding the
window switch in the door position, most of the times what happens is the
window gets stuck in the gasket at the top, when the window does go down,
clean the top of the gasket and the windows on all 4 doors.

don't be afraid to slam the door very hard either

there is screws at the bottom of the door panel and the speaker cover pops off
then u can see 3 screws that hold the panal on then there is one in the grab
cup and then 2 in the front part of the panel  and one behind the door
handleunder a round cover.once all the screws are out, pull on the panel and it
will pop off be carefull of the door handle  doesn't break by pulling to far
out from the door
