I have a 8cyl. dodge ram 4x4 with an automatic transmission. Out of the
blue it started to shift really hard into overdrive. It seems to really
rev, and then shift really hard. It makes the dash shake when it shifts. It
doesn't always do this. All the other gears are fine, and shift very
smoothly. It never seems to do this when it is cold. Only when you have
driven awhile. And when you let off on the gas just before the overdrive is
to shift, it doesn't do it. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't.
What could be going wrong? Or is this the start of us losing the
transmission..
