Automatic headlights sensor location?

I have an '03 Town & Country. Recently, with the headlight switch set
to the automatic position, the headlights come on whenever the engine
is running.

Where is the sensor so that I can check it out? The windshield was
recently replaced and this abnormality may have started occuring about
the same time, if there is any connection.

Thanks for any help,
Bob

They left your rear view mirror disconnected  when the windshield was
replaced. Check the connection at the back of the mirror.

Glenn,

The plug was connected. I wiggled it around a bit, but it doesn't help.
At least you've given me a clue as to where to look. I'll check out the
plug contacts for loose connections. If that doesn't work, I can try
getting into the mirror assembly itself. My assumption is that what
looks like an LED in back of the mirror is the sensor.

Do you know how to detach the mirror?

Thanks you very much,
Bob

The sensor is below the mirror . I bet they broke it off.
