Remove old switch, install new switch.  Oh - wait - that's the
Haynes/Chiltons manual version!

Seriously - It's not as daunting as you might think.  You'll need a
couple of different sizes of torx drivers (one for removing steering
wheel tilt lever and one for removing two screws attaching lower column
shroud).  You will need to raise and lower the steering wheel at certain
points to get the upper and lower shrouds off - it will be obvious which
to do when.

Upper shroud unlatches from lower shroud by squeezing inward towards the
front of the shrouds at the joint between upper and lower shrouds -
upper shroud lifts up.  Remove tilt lever (1 screw).  Remove lower
shroud (two screws from underneath).  Remove two screws attaching
switch.  Unhook wiring from the retaining hooks and remove connector
from switch.
