Hi Glenn,
at first I want to thank you for your reply.
As mentioned in my first post, I owned this car now since a week (to be
honest: since 6 days *g*).
Should I go to the Chrysler shop to ask for the recall? Could it be a
problem that I'm in Berlin/Germany? May be they don't know nothing
about a recalll? Anyway, asking is for free :-)
This car was imported 7 years ago straight from Canada and was not
original sold from Chrysler in Germany.
As you have big knowledge about the Cirrus, could you help me for the
other things too (power window, reading computer codes)? This would be
fine :-)
However, thank you again.

That's how I would start to get the recall done, I have no idea how they do
things over there.

OK, I will ask a Chrysler repair shop to check for this recall.
Thank you again.

You may wish to check in the owner's manual to see if there is a card
to indicate a new owner. Complete the card and mail it in. This way,
you can be notified of any other recalls.
I am curious, did you have to change out the headlamps to comply with
the German lighting requirements?

I don't know whether the headlamps are changed, because I'm the second
owner of this car since it's here in Germany. But I think it would be
done.
However it is still equipped with Daytime Running Lamps, which are not
required here in Germany. I noticed an additional switch for turning-on
the special fog-taillight, which is a must-have in Germany.
Since my car has already an ordinary vehicle registration I assume that
anything is OK concerning the lights. :-)
Greetings
max.
