The blower on my beloved '95 Concord has been making an increasing noise
off and on over the last several months.
I assume I'll have to take it out and probably replace it or just the
bearing.
Any info on this diagnosis and repair task much appreciated.

Sounds like it's time for a replacement. There are a few people that
are familiar with LH cars, on this NG that can probably tell you
whether it is a do it yourself job, or better left for a pro.

Are you talking about the heating/air conditioning blower? There might be
something stuck in there making a noise. You might want to use a lawn
blower to blow it out before doing anything else.

Yes the heater/cooler fan.
Initially it sounded like a scrapping of light metal, like a squirrel
cage edge.
Now it has become mostly a rumble, almost like rough road noise.
I've confirmed it's definitely the blower, now I'm wondering what is in
front of me getting at it and making a repair.
So you suspect something stuck in there, like leaves?
That's a possibility, we have lots of trees dropping leaves each fall.
I've been wondering about that, unfortunately I don't have a lawn blower.
Is it relatively easy to uncover it to have a look?

Spam hater, the blower motor is easy to remove and install. You may have to
remove the duct that is under the glove box first. then the connector and I
think there are 4 8mm screws and it is out. You may just have leaves in it
causing the problem. If you have access to an air compressor you may want to
try and into the housing first.
