A friend of mine has this problem with his Caravan.
Any ideas much appreciated.
How to turn off the alert beep is the most important first desire.

The problem is the fuel tank sending unit is bad. There is no way to turn
the beep off, it is programed into the BCM. The fix, Remove fuel tank.
fuel pump and repalce the sending unit. My advise is if there is high
mileage on this vehicle to go ahead and replace the complete fuel pump
assembly if your planing on keeping this.

Just make sure when you drive it into the service place that you try to
run the tank down to empty before taking it in.
