2005 Dodge Caravan - 113,000 miles

P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High code - what do I need
to replace, the EGR valve or a sensor??

With that many miles on it, replace the EGR Valve. That will probably take
care of the fault code. Purchase from the dealer

Thx - will do. Won't pass NYS Inspection with the check engine light on...

And once you replace it, Do not disconnect the battery or you will wipe out
all the monitors, drive the vehicle for about a week, if the lite goes out
on its own the EGR fixed the problem and the EGR valve monitor has been run,
then you can get the emissions test done.
