The missus called me today and told me that the cd player won't eject my
daughter's cd. It's a 2005 Grand Cherokee. Any ideas? We recently bought it
and this is the first time it's happened.
TIA,
Steve

It's possible that the radio's controller is confused. Disconnecting power
might reset it and get things working normally. You can either pull the
fuses that supply power to both the radio and its backup circuit or just
disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds.
If that doesn't work, the radio might have an "emergency eject" hole through
which a straightend paper clip could be inserted. Try holding down the EJECT
button. You may have to pull the radio and break out the hand tools if all
else fails. Some CDs (especially copy protected ones) can cause this
problem, and the radio becomes so confused that only a manual removal of the
disc will work.
