citroen c3 diesel problem

can anyone help me? about 15 minutes after turning on the engine, the
diesel pump warning light turns on and dissconnect the fuel supply.
what can be the reason?

If you ran the fuel tank too low, you may have burnt out the pump
bearings in the tank.
