Hi,

My airbag light on my Xantia has been flashing occasionally over the
past few months.  I say occasionally. as when I fiddle with the wiring
under the driver's seat, it goes out for a while (say, a few weeks)
then finally starts flashing again.  If I knew which wire it was
causing the problem, I coiuld probably fix it.  Any ideas?  Also, my
engine auto diagnotic light came on today.  Car's running fine though.
Getting spheres done tomorrow, may mention it to sphere bloke.

You've already identified it...

It's the connector under the seat for the belt pretensioner.

I'd personally just clear the codes - either just keep using the car, and
any temporary codes will be cleared after a while, or disconnect the
battery for half an hour or so - and see if it comes back. If it does, get
it read out.
