Anyone on this site know how to boost the output of the 1.4i 75bhp unit to
90 bhp?

You need a 'fast road' camshaft (e.g. Kent Cams, Piper Cams), free flowing
exhaust (cat-back system, 45mm diameter) and different ECU software ('chip'),
though I'm not sure the latter is currently available for the ECU of the C3's..
