Can anyone advise or provide any schematic diagram to install an aftermarket
RPM meter for the Citroen Jumpy 1.9D ?  The Jumpy van comes with a stupid
big face clock right beside the speedometer.

Imagine most of the renown mechanics and motorshops here in Singapore dun
know how to install one ! They managed to do it for the Renault Kangoo and
most Japanese commercial makes but none are smart enough for the Jumpy.
Getting kinda frustrating and I might  just have to forget the idea.

Appreciate any help and input pls.

At first you will need a rpm meter special for use with
a diesel engine, connecting is is very easy, yust need
to connect tree wires. One (red) to a hot terminal (fused)
past the ignition switch. One ground wire (black) and
the third wire (any colour) to the G connection on the
alternator. On diesel engines the RPM signal is usually
dranw from 1 phase on the alternator.
