I've stirred a hornets nest here by my own doing. I asked an unethical
question and was rightly slammed for it. I made things worse by
challenging eveyone's integrity and thinking the issue was no big deal
by making excuses. I'm actually pleased that there is still a lot of
honesty out there. I'm the new owner of my first Dodge pickup after
having three f-150's. I find that usenet groups are a valuable source
of info and I don't want to be a pariah here from the get go. (by
being an a.s from the get go) Please accept this apology to the group
and I ask for a second chance.
Thanks

Being big enough to admit your mistake publicly earns high marks from me.
What took ya so long to finally switch to the better truck? <g>

I still wanted the F-150 Supercrew 4X4, (still Ford man at heart) but
much better pricing on the Ram which I think is the best looking
pickup out there. I like the extra bed space and Dodge has the best
sounding stock exhaust there is. Only thing I don't like is the stock
"bicycle" tires that came on it. Will be switching to some 285's
soon....and thanks for the vote of confidence.

You'll be wishing you had the supercrew when your steering wheel bearing
fails........

no problem, it's a newsgroup, not a "curing cancer" think tank...
but i admire your grit for standing up and posting this...

One thing about this NG, compared to others, is that you can get into
heated debates, piss off people and your next new topic that you post,
those same people that you pissed off on that last topic, will
probably be on your side of the issue, defending you.
It's a great NG. Got into it when I bought my Ram, stayed with it even
after I got rid of the Ram and bought a Silverado.
So let's all do a big group hug now!!
