Will 17 inch rims fit on a DODGE DAKOTA ?
Jay Smith - 25 Feb 2004 09:03 GMT
Yes some 17x9 and 17x8 rims will fit a Dakota. Not sure on what size 17"
tires will fit with the rims and not rub. You might want to try
http://www.tirerack.com if you buy rims and tires, They will ship them
mounted and balanced for you.

If they fit the bolt pattern. You have to make sure that your overall
diameter on your rim and tire combo deos not exceed 31", otherwise the front
tires will rub on the bumper and fenderewells when turning.

Yeah.  Way too simple.  If I sent you a picture and list of stuff done to my
truck you'd understand.

OH believe me, I'll never understand.  It seems ridiculous to me to do some
of the things I see done to perfectly good vehicles.  Of course, Chevy does
it from the factory. LOL!!  have you seen that abortion of a piece they call
the avalanche??  I'm ROTFLMAO!!  Junk sob's.

I saw a post in the good sam forum a few weeks ago... lost-my-lunch
owner explaining why he NEVER should have tried towing a 5th wheel
with it... and wanting to know if the mickey mouse "cladding" could be
replaced..lol

Nah...thats ok...even after being in Truckin Mag back in the late 80s and
early 90s...I havent figured out why in hell I wasted so damn much money on
a POS truck...really....

Some things are better left alone..
But..to each his own.

Hopfully when the time comes I'll be able to live up to this, but I think
this is the last vehicle I'm going to go above and beyond with, as far as
aftermarket parts and accesories goes.  Finally starting to realize that's
its not really worth it.  Buy hey, I'm only 23 and still have plenty of time
to figure that stuff out  :)

you're figuring it out early, Andy... good on you!
As you get more confident with who & what you are in life, I think you
find yourself doing more things for you and less things to impress
other people or look cool..
I'm at the point in life where i've got nobody i want to impress and
less and less folks that i worry about pissing off.. lol
