1994 Grand Caravan Headlights

I've had issues with the headlights on my 1994 Dodge Caravan Grand LE ever
since I bought my vehicle brand new. Very poor visibility at night. The
lights have been checked for aligment, & I've tried different bulbs ( each
claiming to be better then original), still the problem continues.
The dealers tell me that there is nothing that can be done as Chrysler
had poor light that year.
Has anyone experienced this type of problem and found a solution?

Just about everyone experienced it with many DC models around that time.  My
97 RAM also has that problem and unless you want to do some serious
customization, there is really little that you can do about it.  Perhaps the
aftermarket has a solution but I'm unaware of anything.

I solved the lighting problem on my '99 with a pair of Dick Cepek C-1000
Super Offroaders, at 210W and 750,000 candlepower each.  Slightly above DOT
specs, but heck - I could see for miles  :)

Yea, but how long does it take for the people coming the other way to be
able to anything again :-)

ALmost wish I had that problem...the T+C and the new (03) 2500 both get
bright beamed about every 3rd car at night....its really funny when you
flash em back and they realize that was low beam....

I have this sick visual of some guy with glasses getting holes burned
through the back of his headrest...

Did you have the alignment on your lights checked?  You didn't put some of
those retarded blue glow bulbs in there, did you?

Had the alignment checked twice, even went so far as to measure the body to
insure that its not got the a.s end lower than it should be so that the
angle of the beam would be aimed higher in the front.....its dead on, and if
you get into another van similar, parked side by side, the aims about
identical...so, its not that. Believe me, I thought about that early
on...that 2500 just has some damn bright a.s beams..

And no...I didnt put in those f.cked up blue lights. Those damn things need
to be illegal.
Sylvania makes a new bulb called the SilverStar...I thought it was a blue
bulb, and its not..now, thats one bright damn bulb right there. I put them
in the wifes car, and wow, what a difference. But no...factory bulbs in both
the Town and Country and the B van..

I changed my faded, yellowish, dull lenses for new aftermarket lenses,
problem solved
