Good 110v tire inflator

I am very tired of the cheapo "tire inflators" that are extremely slow
and built like toys and need 12V, or, even worse, are
"rechargeable". What I would like to buy is a

-- 110v inflator
-- it should not weigh more than 20 lbs
-- It should have a shutoff that stops it when it reaches settable
pressure

It may be that I need something like a "tankless air compressor", but
I want one with an automatic shutoff feature for tire inflation.

I could spend up to $100 for it.

Any suggestions?

I just got my Craftsman Club flyer yesterday and thereare a couple an air
compressors there that look quite portable.
Looks like Sears part number #15239.  Says it does 150 psi with pressure
regulator on a 1.5 gallon tank.  The sale price is $89.99
Another one there is 120v and weighs 11 lbs , no info on pressure or volume
but is $79.99.  Part number #15236.  There's my 2 cents worth.
If  Sears have them, then others should.

How do I get a sale price? Is it available at Sears stores? The price
I see on the website is $119.

usually you can go to the sears.com site and hit "weekly ads" or
whatever...
they ask you zip code and show you the local ads..

If you just want to inflate tires, Pep Boys has a small 120 Volt Coleman
compressor for $39.95. Looks like the Sears unit, but a bit smaller. Comes
with the hose and air chuck.

Does it feel like a chinese made toy? I had enough of that stuff fall
apart. I would not mind paying say $100, if I was to get a  good
quality unit that would last forever.

Sorry I didn't explain the prices.  Sears has a "Craftsman Club" you just
sign up for and then they send out these flyers that have these specials for
a couple weeks only for card carrying members.  If you like Craftsman tools,
and I do, then you can get some pretty good deals from the Club sales flyer.
I didn't think I would want to belong to a club that would have me for a
member (Groucho Marx) but I have saved some $ belonging to the club. I
bought a much larger air compressor from them and saved about $50.  I think
they give you an instant discount the day you sign up. I can't vouch for the
size of compressor you are looking for but I understand your feelings about
the crappy ones you refer to.  I have a couple and hate them.  Pure junk.

Try www.chpower.com - this is Campbell Hausfield. They offer both 12v & 120v
tire inflators. I bought the 120v & it has been a dream - much more power - and
a lot cheaper than Sears.

Good Luck!
