Yes. I believe they are the same parts as the 4WD.

I had to replace the left upper ball joint on my 2002 2WD Dodge Dakota
Lemon at 35,000 miles.

The 2WD are not covered on the recall but have a 10 year factory warranty

They are not covered in a recall but they will refund the money I spent
to have the ball joint replaced.

I replaced my uppers but they are bad again! I did them myself so I'm hoping
the dealer replaces them again in lieu of paying me for the work I did.. I
would prefer to have them replace the whole A arm to the 100$ I spent on parts
and my time...

I own a 2WD 2001 Dodge Dakota Quadcab. I recently received a form letter
from DC stating they are extending my upper ball joint warranty for 10
years/100,000 mi. The warranty "applies to all 2000 through 2003 model year
Dodge Durango 4x2 vehicles and Dodge Dakota 4x2 pick-up trucks built through
December 31, 2002."
