I've just started noticing this too in my 2001 Dakota. They don't
actually lock up, but after the truck's been sitting more than a day or
two, they're *very* touchy. It seems to fade after I've been driving 10
minutes or so. Not sure if I have the same problem?
Did you replace the caliper, and if so, did it fix the problem?

I got into some really bad financial problems and had to sell the
truck. (I was a police officer of 20 years and got hurt really bad on
duty and was forced into early retirement) I never got the chance to fix
the caliper.
