back door stuck shut

HI all, we have a 1999 dodge 3/4 ton diesel cab and 1/2, rear door has just
stuck shut..any ideas on how to open and fix?? (think it is the bottom
latch that is not working)

I read about this a week ago. don't recall whether it was here or the TDR.
You might try a google or search the TDR.

From what I've read the bottom latch rusts up. Use some PB Blaster or the
like and drown it and let it soak in for a day or so.
I suppose if you can't get it open a sawzall to the bottom anchor and
replace parts as needed.

arghh - sawzall sounds just a wee bit more agressive than I'd like!!
