What a difference new tires can make!  Finally got my new Michelins (LTX
M/S) installed today, and it's like driving a new truck - smoother ride,
that annoying little braking shudder is gone, handles much better,
especially  on the turns.  The new tires aren't particularly noisy either.

Woohoo!  Here's hoping it actually *snows* this winter here in England!

I agree, it's not an advertisement.
He's posting from a web based forum. I don't think they have any choice
where the post is placed.

::sigh:: oh, just go away.  If you'd been paying attention, you'd know
it was not.  I've been here for a while, asked advice about which tires
to buy, and bought them based on the recommendations here (and bought
them from a vendor similarly recommended).  I included the full name of
the tire for the benefit of those who hadn't read my earlier posts.

In the end, I don't really care if you think this is an ad; I don't
think the regulars really do either.

I don't really care if it was an ad or not, just expressing my thoughts for a

My sarcasm detector just lit like a Christmas tree :)

May not seem a big deal to you, but I'm an American posted overseas
where the exchange rate is *not* favorable to the US Dollar.  I'd have
paid at least twice as much for 'em.  Finding an online vendor who'll
ship to APO can be a challenge too.

Since people come here for advice (such as what tires to buy) I thought
that it might be useful to let people know that so far I like this
particular brand...

::sigh::

(oh, and apologies if you were serious, and remember me posting a couple
of times about tires.  Had a bad day yesterday, so I'm a bit thinner

No worries.  I usually don't, but 3 weeks of bronchitis followed by
idiots at work that micromanage when they're not even my manager have me
a bit more annoyed in general just now.  I usually just ignore.  I

Well, lots of oversize tires... but I did find some references that you
have some on your ATV (10 Feb 2004).  Oh, and Roy, you mention that you
put a plow on Sue's ATV 'cause it wouldn't fit on yours 'cause of the
skid plates (23 Apr 2004).

::takes a bow::

In passing, I did find a post that caught my attention:  "2 llamas in a
van" (sounds like a great name for a band!), which was mentioned in the
same thread as Roy's skid plates.

Well, I wasn't thinking of this one in particular, but the threads that
I found while googling.  Some seem to have drifted halfway to Australia :)

My contribution to thread drift: Yesterday, we had the warmest October
day since 1888!  Today seems worse in contrast.  Almost saw the sun.
Tomorrow, it starts getting dark at 4:30pm, and gets darker about 4
minutes earlier each evening.  England is depressing in winter :(

You folks have to excuse the "friggin' rabbit". Although he knocks you not
so manly folks that feel the need for leather, heated leather at that. You
should understand that it frustration that he does so. Given that no seat
maker offers a heated leather bench seat for a pick up, and given that his
furry wide a.s is waaaayyyyy too wide to fit in a bucket seat, he attacks
those who have learned to stay the hell out of the refrigerator and can fit
into and enjoy heated leather seats.

Now what the hell is a rabbit who has been secrtly keeping "the machine"
ranting about a tube of KY???

Ya know, I had to read this twice before realization set in that you seem to
be talking from experience and are just trying to pass the "fat a.s" off
onto somebody else. For example,(1) if I had an atv I wouldn't need to
install oversized tires and skid-plates or (2) my half ton gasser does
everything I need it to do. I didn't need to get a 3/4 ton Cummins to haul
my a.s around and (3) I didn't have to dig a hole in my backyard for a
swimming pool so I wouldn't scare off the people at the public swimming
holes. And I won't mention who had the "PW" moniker for a week.    <VBFG>

Mac and Red still have the machine out on the left coast the last I heard. I

That is undoubteedly because they can't build one for your fat a.s. You in a
jeep is like me on a atv.

No, no, no, The hot tub is on the deck. The pool was at the other house.

It's not "can't", it's "don't want to". It gets to be a pain in the furry
a.s when I have to crawl in and out of it all the time. The DMI hitch works
good but sometimes it still takes a couple of tries.

it's muddy as hell. It'll be the middle of next week till I can play in the

Nah, our floppy eared friend would have you believe that Red or mac have it.
But in reality ole furry a.s has "the machine". I think he has it up in the
combine with him.

Hop??? You gotta be kidding!!!! It is more of a quick waddle at this stage.
If he could hop, he better do it outside so he doesn't damage anything.
