I've created tables of the most fuel efficient vehicles of 2006 and put
the data in several categories, such as trucks and American cars... You
can see the information at http://infozak.com/carmileage.html

I am doing a fuel mileage survey for P/U's for those that want to take
part in it.

Christ!! It is a friggin' pick up TRUCK!!! They get horrible mileage if it
is a gas engine. People worrying fuel mileage in a truck I truly do not
understand.

You miss understand, of course they do not get the best MPG, I am doing
a comparison of variuos model and engines, loaded and unloaded and then
will do a cost per mile too when comapared to diesels at current fuel
costs. It is a imformative not a race.

Oh, right...  to further your quest to prove that diesels are more expensive
to operate.  Good luck with that...

Now that depends on what type and how much mileage you put on it now,
doesn't it.

If at first you don't succeed,  you're not cut out for skydiving

Always looking for fire huh, unlike others I can have a opinion but
still present data whether it is for me or against my personal beliefs
because they are not a factor in this survey. It is the result on many
posts I have read that people say what can I expect with this combo and
I plan to make the result availble as they are and not edited to support
one veiw or the other.

Okay... then I wish you luck in your efforts.

A couple of notes about your survey form.  You need an option for 235/80
tires, as that's what '03+ DRW's use.  You also need higher selections for
highest MPG (solo) - it only goes up to 23.5.  I can get over 24MPG when
running 55MPH, and older/lighter trucks with the Cummins can exceed that.
