Wow... never heard of that before. I guess somehow the sensor was just
slow in reacting, producing several degrees of retard. Either that, or it
was manufactured in such a way that it wasn't sitting properly, and causing
the same retarded timing. At any rate, I'm glad to hear it's finally fixed.
Are you noticing an increase in MPG, or haven't you been able to keep your
foot out of it long enough to let the tires cool? :)

Yes, I think the mileage is also going to be better, but it is still too
early to tell how much. I did sense that I thought that starting the fuel
event a bit earlier would help, hense my earlier comment about the Tone Ring
mod. However, I did not expect the observed results. Of course it most
noticable at low engine speeds and light throttle, so the mileage will have
to be better. If this change has done nothing else, it has shown just how
short the 4.11s are. I really need 3.60s or 36" tires.
