2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with 3,000 miles.
Anytime the shifter is put into park, a loud "clunk" is heard from the
transmission/driveshaft area as if someone were hitting it with a small
hammer.
The dealer said this is normal, but it DOES NOT sound normal, nor does it
do it every time.
Anyone have or know of a similar problem?
If so, what was the remedy?
Thanks

I have nothing but problems since the day I bought My 2006 Dodge
Ram1500 SLT
at just 500 mile i took it into the shop and they said it was some kind
of electrical problem and 10 days later i picked it up and they had
replaced all the injectors and then the horn light on the dash would
come on and i would have to drive my truck 50 miles with the horn and
lights going off, and took it back and they told me they saw the codes
but cant do anything about it. now there is a noice when i put it in
park and it was told to me that it is normal, and know the rear end
does nothing but shake. and Chrysler will do nothing to help me so know
i have an attorney. and even my husband said it is not normal and he is
a mechanic.
