I have 2 lines coming from the trans but hard to see where they go.  I
think they go to the radiator but not sure.  It is a 4.7 L 4x4 3.55 gear.
Does anyone know if these came stock with a transmission cooler? thanks

Yep.  Look on the passenger side of the radiator...  should see the two
transmission lines.  The stock transmission cooler (or warmer, depending...)
is inside the side tank of the radiator.

It's possible that the towing package added an auxillary (oil-to-air)
cooler, mounted in front of the radiator, but all automatic vehicles come
with the oil-to-water cooler integrated into the radiator.

The trans cooler was part of the heavy duty cooling package, which was included
in the heavy duty towing package.

That brings up a interesting point.Am wondering if mine has a heavy duty
cooling or the towing package.
It's a 1992 D-150 Ram with the Magnum V6.It too has lines ran to
radiator.

Also is there a easy way to tell what transmission I have.Someone told
me today its the Torq-Flight 3sp.It dose not have push button to lock up
the torque-converter.

Also, does anyone know how to de-code the VIN number. If so please let me
know.

          Thanks,
             Michael

your Durango probably doesn't have an extra cooler. Just the stock in the
radiator one.
92 D150 with 318 probably has an A500 light duty 3 speed Auto with
overdrive -- do you have an overdrive switch on the dash ??

Thanks folks.  Very helpful

               Thanks
