i dont know if we would make the top 50 or not. its not up to me to educate
the entire U.S., just my boys. my 4 year old already reads and can do simple
math problems and multiplication. its up to each parent to make sure their
child is being educated and is literate.

Illegal aliens live here 20+ years, don't become citizens and still do
not speak fluent English. Its a growing trend.

If you cannot read or speak the language of the country that you call home
and don't bother to try, they you are very much uneducated and illiterate.
If you were to move to France and not bother trying to understand the
language, then you WOULD be illiterate to them.
