Location of Oxygen Sensor on a 1987 Dakota V-6

try following the exhaust pipe back from the exhaust manifold back and see
if you cant see the sensor located in the pipe.

I used to have an 87 Dakota V6, and if I remember it is on the exhaust pipe
close to the transmission.  It will be on top of the pipe.
