This is a gas fuel not diesel, won't this make a big difference.

Not at all because it was used with gas and jet fueled aircraft (if we
are still talking about 8802 class sealants. You have to use toulene
to clean uo afterwards if you make a mess. MEK will work to0 but not
quite as well. (they are both nasty and use gloves if you use these
solvents)
