Throttle Body

Check engine light came on. Took it to dealer. They said Throttle Body needs
replaced. It was ordered but is on backorder. My thought is this must be a
common problem (why else would it be on back order.) Has any one else had
this problem?

2003 Ram 1500 QC, 5.7 Hemi, 35,000 miles.

The whole throttle body? Or the throttle position sensor?

Not much can go wrong with a throttle body....

Replaced? Why? They usually need a good cleaning
and that's it. A TB usually lasts nearly forever.
