recently while driving i started having a loud growl from from drivers side -
from experience i knew it was the wheel bearing-a trip to autozone -got hub
bearing assembly with abs sensor for about
$190 bucks.borrowed the axle nut tool-neat deal-no need to buy specialty
tools all the time-
axle nut broke loose with large pry bar,no problem-removed caliper bolts,# 7
hex-
rotor was a little rusted on-came off with slight taps from rubber mallet-
hub bolts were 21 mm-
used short 1/2 in drive socket and extra long swivel head 1/2 in drive
ratchet to break loose-
hub was rusted on-sprayed some kb blaster penetrating oil and gave it a
couple wacks with a
BFH and it came right off.installation was super easy-
calls to local repair shops were all about $450 - $500. to replace
