I helped a friend replace his about 6 months ago.  It's pretty
straight forward, remove the fan shroud, remove the belt, remove the
fan blade, etc.
If you have a service manual you will be ago, the new pump should run
you about 150 or so.

It the fan assembly is like the one in my 99 5.9L, you don't want to lay it
on it's side when you take it out, rather keep it in a verticle position -
something to do with the stuff in the thermal coupler.

The silicone gel stuff is unstable. Roy laid on the beach for an hour on
his side, now his boobs are misshapen.

Now just how in hell are you able to confuse yourself and Roy?  Even
Snojob isn't that bad off in the head?

Look, punkin! Now I'm not really using Mosaic on a DEC 3000-700 Alpha
running OpenVMS V7.3-2

Maybe, Mr. IT Tech/stalker/header-scrutinizer, you'll explain...

"from reading a few other threads in a different group, she wasn't smart
enough to know that the browser she uses is firefox"

... how I'd post to Supernews using Firefox, a standalone web browser
with no newsreader.

Aww, what's the matter sheba, you don't like it when some one does to
you, the exact same thing you do to them?  How about if I post the
link to said comment I reference?  Would that make you feel better.
Also, how about you explain to me anywhere, ever that I scrutinized a
header?

Problem (once again) you can't and if you are refering to the fact
that I politely point out to abby that his reply was in the wrong
thread, that was not "scrutinizing" the header you ignorant f.ck, it
was because the reply was directed at Nate and the question he asked,
and it would have been useful to him had the reply go to the correct
thread.  See you stupid bitch, Nate posts what he needs to, when he
needs you and doesn't read everything, so something that important
would have been missed.  However, for as long as you claim to have
been a lurker in this group you would have known that, as well as the
fact that you have choosen to show all your attention to someone (me)
that you claim to be a punk.  But I doubt you have been here that long
because if you had, you would have seen that I have been here since 98
and your thoughts are wrong.

I (we all) know you have no life out side of Snoballs crotch, but if
you are going to continue to be the slimmy troll that you are and have
no sole purpose in life other then to be the problem child that you
are, I suggest maybe that you learn how to tell the difference between
something as simple as a friendly pointer and ignorant bullshit like
your lover spews all the time.

Anyway, have at it you dick licking ignorant douch bag...

WTF are you babbling about? I answered a Firefox History question in a
freeware group, idiot.
http://groups.google.co.in/group/alt.comp.freeware/msg/beb3237e96edbb2b

And I see that my browser ID string wasn't even changed there!

Now try to explain "from reading a few other threads in a different
group, she wasn't smart enough to know that the browser she uses is
firefox by mozilla (or a slightly older version of the same thing),
when some one was asking a quiestion about firefoxs' history."

Never mind, punkin, I'll do it for you.

My "User-Agent:" header on that post is
"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.13) Gecko/20060414"

Mozilla is just plain Mozilla, it isn't Firefox. That's why I ended my
answer with "I'm using Mozilla, but I'd guess that Firefox has at least
the same if not more."

And then some dink, LouB, felt compelled to add 'Uh "Mozilla" is the
outfit that make FireFox.' Well duh! So what?

So you're not a header-scrutinizer. Someone simply said something
stupid, and you ran with it.

Ya know Meryl, this really seems to bother you alot. Going by the timestamps
on your posts, it seems you're putting alot of time in this. Don't you wish
you had a life???

Sometimes, yes. Punkin should be able to process information by himself.

Ya know I just watched the vid that Larry posted and then I come to
you(shakes head) and I wonder if you are worthy of a response in kind.

Nah, you soil the day.

http://www.pavementsucks.com has an article in their Tech section on the R&R
of a timing chain, which includes removing/reinstalling the water pump.
This is on a 5.2/5.9, but should be very similar to your 3.9.
