98 Ram Q.C 4x4 5.9 ltr,auto 1/2 ton. 123112 miles.
Noticed tonight when got home from work, no brake lights, not even the
3rd brake light. All other lights do work ,tail & turn lights work.
Checked the 20 amp fuse, -good,eveything else seems to be ok, no codes,
or anything.
Brake light switch? a relay? why all of a sudden?
Any ideas & information appreciated
Thanks for letting me post.

To test the brake light switch, disconnect the electrical connector from the
switch, and check for voltage on pin 6 of the connector.  If voltage is
present, jumper pin 6 to pin 5.  If the brake lights light up when you do
that, you've got a problem with the switch.

If you don't have voltage on pin 6, then double-check your fuse.
