won't start this morning, cranks but doesn't fire

What do codes P0320, P0138 & P0455 mean.

Thanks

P0138 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2

P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

P0455 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Leak Detected

Your check engine light has been on for a while, right?

The second code, P0320, is probably your no start problem. Take it to
a compentent mechanic and get him to fix it.

BTW, it takes about 15 seconds to look up DTC codes on teh web, try it
next time.

Would you send me the web site for the codes please, I looked in this
group & searched web for listing but could not find them

Thanks for the info

Would the P0320 possibly be a defective Crankshaft Position Sensor?

Not likely as that is a different code.

Yep, sure can.  That's one of the possibilities listed in the FSM, among
others:

Cam position sensor signal
Intermittent crank position signal
5-volt supply circuit shorted to voltage
5-volt supply circuit open
5-volt supply circuit shorted to ground
CKP (that's the crank sensor) sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage
CKP sensor signal circuit open
CKP sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
CKP sensor signal shorted to 5V supply
Sensor ground circuit open
Crankshaft Position Sensor
PCM

You'd need a wiring diagram to troubleshoot any wiring shorts and whatnot,
but if you want to roll the dice and just swap the sensor, it's on top of
the transmission bellhousing, passenger side, and is reachable through the
passnger-side wheel well, by removing the tire and the plastic inner liner.
Having removed this from a '00 Durango several times (been arguing
vociferously with a transmission for the last...  well, a while), I can tell
you that a 1/4+ drive, 1/4" allen socket, with a short (2-3") extension and
small 1/4" ratchet is the best way to remove the sensor.

The sensor sticks into the bellhousing a good amount (maybe 5"), so it's a
bit of trick to wiggle it out, but not impossible.  Before buying a new one,
disconnect the wiring, and with the ignition on, check for +5V at the
connector on pin #3, and ground on pin #2.  If you don't have +5V or a
ground, then you've got a wiring problem and need to track that down.

Don't know about the other two, but I believe P0455 is the one that can
pop up if:

1.  You don't crank your gas cap on correctly.  I think though that the
codes attempt to clear every x (10?) starts so if this has been there
for a while or you clear the codes and this returns it might be:

2.  Your gas cap is defective - easy to replace.  If you do that and the
code still comes back then perhaps:

3.  You have a damaged vacuum line?  At least, I think that's what ended
up being wrong in mine.
