I'm rebuilding my old ca$e 580B engine. I have a new water temp gauge and new
oil pressure gage but don't have the sending units. Are the sending units
pretty much standard as far as the ohms range?
TIA

Generally, but once I say that:
1. Someone will come in and point out exceptions, and
2. You will have one of those exceptions!
Any idea what 'brand' gauges you have?

Yes I looked them up and they have the sending units but no retailers in my
area. Auto parts stores only know make and model of vehicle and are of little
help.
Oil pressure guage uses a standard 240 - 33.5 ohm sending unit. Water
temperatur uses a DAL match whatever the phuck that means.

They must have a retailer that will mail you what you need or perhaps give
you the spec's and you can match it to another brand.
